Oh man, that's classic.
Yesterday I ran into a necro trying to do the z-mission using the AP targeting build for discordway in a full party team; his excuse was 'this is the only build I have'. He didn't even try to fill the other 4 skill slots either.

You think that's bad? I saw a sin using a spear and tormented shield in CB but he was on the other team. I left him alone so I could kill his team members first

Fail power trader (unless he's actually buying these things...but somehow I doubt it).
WTB --- ALL UNWANTED TORMENTED/DESTROYER/OPPRESSOR WEAPONS 20k/ea ---
Maybe I've just been a little more annoyed at hardcore power traders lately because the only ones I've run into can't speak a lick of English and it's more than irritating to get tons laughable offers (from them) on things I'm trying to sell..

The greedy wannabe powertraders are really getting on my nerves lately. I saw a guy in Ascalon spamming:
"WTB Black Dye 500g"
People were tearing him apart and he had the balls to argue "not everyone knows about the dye trader". IMO that's a reportable scam.

Seen so many silly things.. But the most recent is the current fad to 'show stones' for UW teams

Agreed. I sort of wonder if ANet agrees with that. If so, I'll happily report anyone I can get to admit that they're knowingly ripping people.

I decided to read through the thread instead of do my homework. I. Thought. The. Same. Thing. I just felt to silly laughing at something like that, but it's so easy to take out of context.

It's not illegal to offer a price no one would knowingly accept. The only violations could be for A) Not delivering the item you claimed to have or B) Not paying the amount agreed upon. As long as the two traders shake hands, it's a deal.
